Mini Goldendoodle & Mini Bernedoodle Puppies for Bay Area Families
Plenty of our families make the drive from the Bay Area to Placer County for their puppy, and we love that. If you're in San Francisco, the East Bay, the Peninsula or the South Bay and want a carefully raised mini doodle, here's what to know.
Worth the drive
There are a lot of places selling doodle puppies. What makes the drive worth it is how the puppy was raised. Our puppies grow up inside our home, get Early Neurological Stimulation and daily socialization, and start potty and crate training before they ever leave us.
We raise Mini Goldendoodles and Mini Bernedoodles from DNA health-tested parents. You can meet our moms and dads online before you ever get in the car.

Doodles and Bay Area living
Mini doodles are a great fit for Bay Area life:
- Apartments and condos. Their smaller size and people-focused nature make them good city dogs, as long as they get daily walks and play.
- Low-shedding coats. Nice for small spaces and often a good fit for allergy sufferers (no dog is 100% allergy-free).
- Busy schedules. If you work long hours, plan for a dog walker or daycare. Doodles don't like being alone all day.
- Weekend adventures. They love beaches, trails and road trips. Just follow posted dog rules wherever you go.
Planning your pickup day
Bring a crate or a helper to hold the puppy, a towel, water and a few paper towels. Plan a quiet first evening at home. We'll send you home with notes on your puppy's routine and food, and we're a text away if you need us.

Do you ship puppies to the Bay Area?
We ask families to pick up their puppy in person so we can meet you and send your puppy home the right way. Pickup details are shared once your puppy is reserved.
How long is the drive?
It depends on where you are in the Bay Area and on traffic, but most families plan for a couple of hours each way to Placer County.
Are mini doodles good apartment dogs?
They can be. Mini Goldendoodles and Mini Bernedoodles adapt well to smaller homes with daily walks, play and lots of time with their people.
