Dainty Doodles is a family breeder based in Placer County, and we raise every puppy in our own home. If you live in Auburn, Loomis, Penryn, Newcastle, Lincoln or anywhere in the foothills, you're right in our backyard.
A true local breeder
We're not a big kennel and we don't use guardian homes. Our puppies grow up inside our house, surrounded by kids, everyday sounds and real family life. That early environment shapes confident, calm dogs that settle easily into their new homes.
We raise Mini Goldendoodles and Mini Bernedoodles from DNA health-tested parents. You can meet our moms and dads, see their health records, and look at photos of their past puppies. You can also read more in our story.
How every Dainty Doodles puppy is raised
No matter where you live, every puppy gets the same start:
- Raised inside our home, not in a kennel or a guardian home, with kids, everyday noise and real routines.
- DNA health-tested parents, so you can see the health work behind every pairing.
- Early Neurological Stimulation and hands-on socialization from the first days.
- Temperament testing, so we can match each puppy to the right family.
- Early potty, kennel and basic training, at no extra charge.
- Lifetime support. You can reach out any time, for the life of your dog.
Foothill life with a doodle
The foothills are a wonderful place for an active, friendly dog. Keep a few things in mind:
- Trails and wildlife. Keep puppies leashed on trails, and watch for rattlesnakes in warm months. Ask your vet about precautions.
- Foxtails and burrs. Check paws, ears and coat after hikes. A short "puppy cut" makes this much easier.
- Water fun. Many doodles love water. Introduce it slowly and always supervise near rivers and lakes.
- Grooming. Plan for brushing a few times a week and a professional groom every 6 to 8 weeks.

We're a home-based breeder in Placer County, Northern California. We share exact pickup details with families once a puppy is reserved.
Do you use guardian homes?
No. Every puppy is born and raised inside our own home until go-home day.
Are the parents health tested?
Yes. All of our breeding dogs are DNA health tested, and many have health records you can view on their profile pages.
